Italgi was established in Santa Margherita Ligure (Genova) on the italian riviera in 1985 by a group of young designers joined by a great passion for the traditional italian cuisine.

The top management of the company came from a technical background, so since the beginning all our efforts have been devoted to the development of high quality new machines, instead of marketing existing products.

Pasta machines

The first products where pasta machines of relatively small production, and they were sold mainly locally.

From 1992 Italgi began to set up a few offices in other countries and a distribution network that is now branched worldwide.

After the first years spent in the production of pasta machines, in 1994 the project of a new fully automatic espresso and cappuccino machine was ready for production. Italgi was among the first companies in the world to present this type of machine.

Since then the company has been steadly growing year after year thanks to the great enthusiasm and skill of our staff.

A few years ago the manufacturing plant has been moved to the industrial area of Carasco (Genova) in a new, bigger facility.

In order to guarantee the best quality sandards, our machines go through the following control stages:
- Selection and control of commercial parts;
- Strict production control for every phase of assembly;
- Accurate quality control test for every finished product.

Our distribution network is branched in many European, North American, South American and Asian countries.

We focus our energy at design time to minimize the need for assistance. But when our customer needs it, we are there to help. Our widespread sales and assistance network ensures a fast and easy service. Distributors of Italgi products has been trained in our factory to service our pasta machines in the best way.
